Sources and editorial policy

Doser quotes official sources instead of writing its own medical advice. This page explains which sources we use and how.

The sources we use

• NHS
• US FDA medicine labels (DailyMed and Drugs@FDA)
• European Medicines Agency product information (EPAR)
• MedlinePlus
• Ireland’s HSE

How we quote them

Side-effect and guide pages quote these sources word for word, with the source named and linked and a visible source list on the page. Anything we cannot source does not go on the page. We do not make claims about results, and we never say how much to take.

How often pages are reviewed

Side-effect and guide pages show a “last reviewed” date. They are reviewed every six months, or sooner when a label changes.
